Rob obtained a degree in International Relations from the London School of Economics in 1994 but was really interested in shooting films on his camcorder. So he started making acclaimed British television documentaries like Modern Times and Cutting Edge for the BBC and Channel 4. Inspired to move into commercials, he won the Cfp/e Shots Magazine New Director Award in the Cannes Advertising Festival and was named in the Top new 10 new directors to watch worldwide. Rob combines the sensitivities of human interest story-telling grounded in documentary with highly developed technical and stylistic skills honed in advertising.
